Whether it's your first time getting your car detailed or your first time with us, here are some common FAQs we get but if there's anything you're unsure off just send us a message and we'll help you out!

Can you detail my car if it's freezing outside?

We can do exterior details as long as your hose provides running water. Some customers leave the hose connected all year round which can cause it to freeze up in winter and stop the water from flowing.

Can you detail my car in the rain?

Unfortunatly we can't detail cars when it's raining out due to the use of electrical equipment and some of our finishing products like cermaic coatings and waxes need to be applied to a dry car.

What areas do you cover?

We're based in Hadleigh, Suffolk and are happy to travel around. We currently have clients in:
- Ipswich
- Colchester
- Bury St Edmunds
- Braintree
- Sudbury

Please note that there are increased costs for travelling further afield depending on the serivce and number of cars.

Do you just detail cars?

While most of our customers have their cars detailed our services extend to all veichles so if you have a motorbike, bike, van, lorry or tractor we can get it looking good as new.

Do you offer custom packages?

Of course! We know that sometimes you just want the interior sorting or a quick touch up clean rather than a full detail. Let us know what you're looking for and we'll create something tailored just to your needs.

Do you come to me or can I travel to you?

At Iridium Detailing we can do both however we typically come to you as we're based just outside of Hadleigh with no acces to public transport or anything fun to keep you occupied while we work!

How long does it take?

Unfortuantly there isn't a straightforward answer and it depends on the size of the vechicle, the current condition and the service chosen however we're happy to give estimates once we know those details.

What do I need to provide?

We will need access to the inside and outside of the vechicle so we can get in all the nooks and crannies as well as a hose and power source. We provide everything else.

What payment methods do you accept?

We take card and cash payments and for businesses or those that prefer we offer invoice billing.

What products do you use?

We use a range of top quality, professional grade products that we've personally tried and tested to give you the perfect finish. Some of the brands we use include Koch Chemie, 303, Meguiars, Turtle Wax and more.

Do I need to prepare anything before you arrive?

If we're doing an exterior detail there is nothing you need to do before we arrive. If you're having the interior detailed then emptying the car of your personal belongings will be required but small items like charging cables, dash cams and other items can be left in and we'll move these around as we work on the vechicle.

What happens if it rains on the day of my appointment?

We'll keep a close eye on the weather in the days coming up to your appointment and if it looks like the weather is against us we'll reschedule you to the next avalible slot which would typically be the next dry day.

What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?

We know that things come up so there are no cancellation fees as long as you let us know 24 hours in advance of your booking. If you need to cancel within 24 hours of your appointment there will be a fee of £10.

Are you insured?

We are fully insured and have both public liablity and professional indemnity insurance. Feel free to ask for our policy docuemnts when booking your detailing.

What if I'm not happy with the results?

We provide a 100% satisfaction garuntee as we stand by the quality of our work. Before we start detailing we will highlight any potential issues that might not be able to be rectified during our visit.

Do you offer discounts for fleet or business vehicles?

If you book in more than one vechicle we do offer discounts so if you have mutlple company cars or you have friends and family that also want their vechicle detailed then you can group them together and save.

Do you offer regular detailing?

Yes, we have a subscription style service where come on a regualr basis and detail your car which is a great way to keep it looking it's best. You can pick the schedule that works for you as well as what kind of detail you'd like.
